The process of tanning the leather takes longer and is more expensive than a chrome based tan leather, but it makes that the leather ages more beautifully and naturally than the chemical tanned leathers. The difference is so worth it! :) apart from the fact that there are no chemical residues in it. It's totally natural. Full grain leather (the best layer/part of the leather), thick and sturdy. The tanning company that produces this leather is specialized in making veg tanned leather, and they carefully treat and tan the leather to keep the natural look about it, that's what makes it so authentic and special. We loved so much this leather, they're making it specially for us. We let us advice by the tanning company and agreed all the specifics that we wanted to create this beautiful leather, it also includes natural oils and waxes that will protect it and develop this beautiful patina.
