Chanel - Scarce Coco 1994 /winter Cream Necklace Sautoir French Contemporary Pearl

Scarce vintage Coco Chanel 1994 fall/winter cream pearl necklace - this important classic/contemporary Chanel necklace is comprised out of large cream colored faux glass pearls. In all Coco manner, the necklace is accented by large architectural gripoix amber gilt beads. What makes this rare necklace scarce and desirable amongst collectors is the provenance, color, material combination and length ( the necklace can be doubled and tripled around the neck). This piece is a fine example of Karl Lagerfeld's 1990's experimentation - signed Chanel 94A by the clasp. Note: In 1993 Karl Lagerfeld took to the streets of Paris for Chanel’s 1994 collections - the outcome was black and white tweed suits accessorized with oversize rapper’s chains and baggy boy shorts held up with suspenders.
