Domestic cat breeding has led us to felines with “colorpoint” patterns, which is when the body of the cat is a lighter color, then it has darker coloring around the ears, paws and nose. Though more common than some colorings, it's still considered rare for felines.
Highlander cats are considered rare because they're a purebred exotic breed. Additionally, while recognized by TICA, they're not recognized by other cat registries, so it can be difficult to find this breed.
The Foldex's body stature is medium-built with strong muscles, short legs and a short neck. Their ears may resemble of Scottish Fold breed, but they only have one crease which folds forward and downwards, while Scottish Folds have multiple creases that result in their ears laying flat.
As is the case with most designer cats, Dwelfs are quite playful and chirpy and keep you engaged for hours. Included in the list of “puppy cats”, Dwelfs are just the quite adorable, friendly, and intelligent kitties you can welcome into your home. They love being around people.
