I think this picture does a really good job of illustrating how students feel in a teacher based classroom. I also think it emphasizes the importance of student centered learning. As educators, we aren't there to be Hawks over their shoulders or be ready to hit them with the ruler when they can't regurgitate all the facts we've taught them for an exam.
