Here’s what I used: - 2 wood corbel brackets (Home Depot) - 1 1/4” dowel rod (Home Depot) cut to your window width. My window is 4 ft wide so I did a 5ft rod. You want some overhang on each side. **Most hardware stores will cut them to length for you. - Stain/Paint color of your choice. (I used Varathane Flagstone) - Liming wax (Amazon) - 2” hole saw bit & a Drill Position the hole saw bit in the middle of the bracket and just a little bit over the top so your rod slips down into the hole easily. Drill hole. Sand any roughness if needed. Apply stain or paint and let dry.
