From the famous Bemelman's bar at the NYC Carlyle hotel, unused from old stock and a great artifact from New York City’s Golden Age of Hotels. The Bar was named after Ludwig Bemelmans, the creator of the Madeline Character and whose artwork features prominently on everything from the lampshades to the walls. Very good condition.

As soon as we checked into our Soho hotel and changed into cocktail-appropriate attire, we headed to the Upper East Side for a cocktail at this classic New York City historic bar. I love the famous wallpaper at Bemelmans at the Carlyle in NYC, named for Mr. Ludwig Bemelman of favorite book Madeline. The Madeline Tea Party hosted every Saturday and Sunday is really for kids but I'd probably enjoy it too.
