Giant Hoito Bag - brown patchwork print

This bag is perfect for shopping, overnights, outings, knitting projects, kids' stuff, or just about anything. It has a large expanding capacity, yet not bulky. A friend gave me instructions for making this bag from a pattern she got when she was in Hawaii. I have enjoyed the "Hoito Bag" very much. I have used the bag going to the Farmer's Market, shopping at craft fairs, bringing treats to an offsite meeting, and carrying my continuous knitting projects. The bag has a very large capacity and is easy to carry on your shoulder. It is made from 2 pieces of fabric about 44" square, has elastic on two sides and thick padded fabric handles pulled through the top casing on the other two sides. There is a small zipper pocket at the top on the inside and ties for closure. The fabric on this bag is a print with a brown patchwork design. The lining is white cotton.
