For the best protection for high heat surfaces, we recommend using Rust Oleum ULTRA HIGH HEAT Paint, a rust-preventive enamel that offers a durable semi-gloss finish. It can withstand temperatures of up to 1200 degrees (648C). Due to repeated high heat usage, we suggest re-coating your fire ring yearly for complete protection.
