Commission painting studio on Instagram: "⁉️Want to know why I use this recipe for snow bases⁉️ I use baking soda, pva glue and white paint in roughly a 1:1:1 ratio. 1. Baking soda gives the snow a realistic texture. It also turns the mixture quite matte which I like for thicker snow. It makes the snow look soft. Too much baking soda and the mix will be too dry though. 2. Pva glue helps to give the mix a viscous texture and volume. It also seals the snow when it dries so it doesn’t come off.
