So I've always loved a good galaxy scene, but hadn't really tackled the Northern Lights look. I decided to make two cards, because once you try this type of background, you just have to make more! Using the Waterfront stamp set and Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp set I had a play with the Northern Lights Technique. You get very inky fingers but I’m quite happy with the end result. There were two cards in yesterday's challenge (Space) that featured the Northern Lights. They were so beautiful, that I fell asleep thinking about them. This morning I Googled Northern Lights photos and CASED one for this card. I started with a gesso covered cardstock piece (always keep some in my stash). I put down rows of Brusho crystals and misted heavily with water. When that was dry, I stamped the tree line, then sponged green along the base and black across the top. Next I stamped…
