How to Decorate Your Mantel with Christmas Garland One of my favorite things to do at the beginning of the holiday season is to put up the Christmas garland on our Mantel! In years past, I've always used live cedar garland. But this year I wanted to decorate early, and because of this I opted for faux cedar garland, and it looks amazing! Magurno | The House of Maggie | Interior Design on Instagram: "Some of you have asked me how did I layered and securely attached my mantel garland, and I wanted to quickly show you. 🤎 First of all I attached the command straps to the border of the mantel on the desired places where your garlands are going to be tightened together. Then I wrapped the needle pine garland around the eucalyptus garland (1 strand of each), and attached them to my first command hook. Third, I wrapped a Norfolk garland around a cedar one. And layered on top of the first one to create a fuller look. Then fluffed the stems to mix them together and add different types of dried florals, like berries, fern, and eucalyptus to fill the spaces and give it a more organic and natural look. 🤎 Added the stock Norfolk Garland, Mantel Garland, Norfolk Pine, Pine Garland, Eucalyptus Garland, Dried Florals, Command Hooks, Securely Attached, Holiday Planning
