Easy Desserts

I've have had requests on my chocolate cake recipe. Do not change a thing, it is excellent. This is the recipe for my cake and icing. Mix dry ingredience, then wet and combine. Butter and flour 3 cake pans......(yes, it is a hugh cake, great for get togethers) 3 C all purpose flour (for you guys out there, that is the white powdery stuff in a bag that usually says Gold Medal) 3 C sugar (don't want to hear it, it is a cake) 1 1/2 C unsweetened cocoa (I use Hershey Dark) 1 tablespoon baking soda (that's the big spoon) 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (that's the little spoon) 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 large eggs (preferrably not rooster eggs) 1 1/2 C buttermilk (yes buttermilk) 1 1/2 C warm water 1/2 C vegetable oil 2 teaspoons real vanilla extract MIX WELL, Distribute equally in pans, tell the kids not to jar around in the kitchen BAKE 350 TILL TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN. CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING 1 1/2 C butter softened (3 sticks) 1 C unsweetened cocoa (I use hershey dark) 5 C confectioner sugar 1/2 C milk (smidge more if needed) 2 teaspoons real vanilla extract Mix and frost P.s. I had a little bit of frosting left over but that is for the kids to lick off the spoon. Haha. ENJOY, I DID.
