It's WEDNESDAY!  Less Than Three updated and I have things to read!!!!

...I think the fact that I had not idea what day today was says everything that needs to be said about work this week.

Stories! :)

ETA:  Good greif!  Silver Bullet Chapter 15B is out too!  I have a wealth of things to read!  (And yet, 26 minutes before I am supposed to have gone to bed.  I may have to portion this out and read some tomorrow... LOL)

1.  I saw a rainbow yesterday evening as I waited for my bus.
2.  The Hydro came back on!   (It was only gone for one night, but it was 30 degrees, so I really missed it!)
3.  I re-watched Enchanted.  I love that movie;  it's so much fun!
4.  I joined a Swap on Den of Angels, and I'm having tremendous fun finding and making things to send to my partners.
5.  My sister sent me a picture of my niece wearing this shirt I made her  (Complete with awesome pink-polka-dotted sunglasses - I have to figure out how to get that picture off my phone.)
6.  I have completed six workouts at the gym in two weeks.
7.  Stepping out of the apartment building in the morning to see that first bit of blue sky peeking through.
8.  Giant Turtle in the parking lot when the stream flooded on Monday.   (Sadly, it was raining too hard to get a picture)
9.  The cat bringing an increasingly ludicrous string of toys for me to throw for her.  (Note that her definition of toys is "I can pick this up and at least drag it across the floor")
10.  Overhearing a conversation about a movie, and hearing "Well, but in the BOOK..."  That statement always delights me, no matter what I think of the actual book/movie being discussed!

Hope you're all having a good week too! :)

It's a lovely day out today!  The sun was shining while I was waiting for the bus at 6:30 this morning, and the building across the street from my bus stop had their sprinklers going.  I know it is only May, but nothing says summer to me like sprinklers on the lawn.  I've always loved running though sprinklers. *grin*

In fact, one of my earliest memories is going walkabout from my babysitter's at about three, and running through all the sprinklers within about a block radius.      ...In my defense, I really did just forget that I was supposed to stay on the property! LOL  My poor babysitter was in a panic, but I - and the other little kid I picked up somewhere on my tour -  had a great time!

Sewing stuff... )

I have nothing non-random to offer today. Sorry! :)

 Point the First:

Dear NCIS: LA writers,
That was just bloody MEAN.  Dom!!!!  :(
No love, me.
P.S.  I'm not speaking to you for at least a week!

Point the Second: Book Recs!

Silver Bourne, by Patricia Briggs    I've recommended this series before, and I like this one for the same reasons. :)  I like the characters and their interaction, and the way this particular universe is set up.  I was a little worried about this one, which was touted as "Samuel's book."  Frankly, I've never liked Samuel much, but he didn't really get any more screen-time than usual, and he's finally got someone of his own.  Which means he can't interfere any more in MY pairing! LOL

Bewitched & Betrayed, by Lisa Shearin. I can't remember if I've recommended this series before, but I enjoy it. This is the fourth book in the series, and I don't think it was the best of them, but I still liked it. She finally gave up on the Love Triangle in this one, which pleases me greatly. I was never quite convinced of that one, anyway.

Point the Third: I got a Kobo eReader! Theoretically, a review will be forthcoming this week. I'm still pondering a few points. In case you don't want to wait, the summation is pretty much: Good! But wait six months before you buy it, even if the price goes up.

It's dismaying how many electronic devices can be summed up that way upon debut.

Point the Fourth:   Today as I walked to my  bus stop, I saw a bird pick a tiny flower and fly off with it.  Early Mother's Day present?  *grin*  What I would give to have had my camera out and ready!
