Antique gold filled sweetheart expansion bracelet American Queen, Sterling base, VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine's day! 💌 Antique sweetheart gold filled expansion bracelet Circa 1940s Marked: 'American Queen Pitman keeler Sterling base' This timeless beauty has remained unengraved and is ready to engrave if you so desire! 💗 Excellent condition, darkened vintage patina. light scratching on the surface of heart Please see pictures. A majority of these jewelry pieces were produced in the 1930s & Forties. Gold Filled ( Not plated ) , they were given to a sweetheart by an American Soldier preparing to be away on duties. They were often engraved with names or initials , & some had a Locket on the front where a picture could be enclosed as a Romantic war-time memento. ~ Although there are also many of the Gold filled expansion bracelets that were produced in the Victorian Era Circa 1800s -1920s. Either way- they are a stunning piece of History & beautiful treasure to collect and wear!! Some Patina and/or light vintage wear are natural and normal to Vintage & Antique pieces, and should be expected. ** In the future I will be leaving pieces as they are so that if desired, the buyer can polish w/ a soft cloth. It is known that many collectors Look for the natural aging process of Antique jewelry, and Patina is a great way to identify these pieces! Most are not desiring their pieces to look "new" . I will always try to point out anything that seems to exceed normal or light wear.
