Unusual animals

From dinosaur fish to fairy armadillos, we found some of the strangest animals on the planet.

This American leaf-nosed bat, which was found at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica, shows off the folded, spearhead muzzle for which it is named.

Coati Arenal Area, Costa Rica Coatis are also known as Coatimundi, Brazilian Aardvarks, Mexican Tejón or Moncún, Hog-Nosed Coons, Pizotes, Panamanian Gatosolos, Crackoons and Snookum Bears and they are members of the raccoon family (Procyonidae). They are diurnal mammals native to South America, Central America, and South-Western North America.

Some sites list just 5 ugly African animals, but there are (many) more. My picks for the ugliest animals in Africa are: warthogs, hyenas, vultures (2 types), okapi, wildebeests, buffalo, and aardvarks.
