Katie Scott | Furniture Refinisher on Instagram: "Details HERE ⬇️ I know it’s not one of my usual furniture flips, but after 3 years of living on the coast I finally remembered to pick up some scallop shells from the beach and make myself these trinket trays! Here’s exactly what I did: 🐚 I cleaned the shells and let them dry in the sun. 🐚 Painted the insides with white to brighten them up. 🐚 I found a few designs that I liked on Canva and then used a few dots of glue to attach white tissue paper to regular printer paper so I could print them. 🐚 A layer of decoupage gel over the white paint sticks the tissue paper down and another layer over top seals it in.
