The Old man of the Jungle vines, as he was called by the many mystics one would pass by. The stories he told were cherished by the local children and the omens he foretold were dreaded by their parents. These traditions are those etched into the twisted canopy and the faded stone work that surround him, which were just as melancholy and somber as he seemed to be.
