Ingredients:

Marshmallows (about 10)

Cornstarch/ flour (2 tablespoons)

Vegetable oil/olive oil (1 teaspoon)

Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

Melt the marshmallows: Place the marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 10-15 second intervals, stirring between each one, until the marshmallows are completely melted and soft.

Add oil and coloring: Once melted, add the vegetable oil and a few drops of food coloring if you want to give the slime some color. Mix well.

Mix in the cornstarch: Gradually add the cornstarch, stirring until the mixture becomes less sticky and more manageable. Keep mixing until you achieve a slime

Knead the slime: Take the slime out of the bowl and start kneading it with your hands. I Slime Ingredients, Edible Slime, How To Make Slime, Color Mix, Just Kidding, Corn Starch, Food Coloring, Vegetable Oil, Marshmallows

Science for Kids on Instagram: "We made the BEST SLIME EVER, stretchy and non sticky. Kids loved it (no surprise there).

In addition to being an awesome sensory activity, making slime can be a learning activity. When you make slime you can learn about chemical reactions, polymers, sensory modifiers, etc.

Ingredients:

Elmer’s glue - 1 cup
Contact lens solution (make sure it contains boric acid, this is slime activator) - 1.5 tbs
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Small amount of oil (1/2 tsp) - optional

Procedure:

1. Add Elmer’s glue and baking soda to a bowl and mix (spoon works fine for mixing).
2. Slowly add contact lens solution and continue mixing- you will notice that your mixture is starting to get thicker (becsuse this step activates glue)
3. Take slime out of the bowl and knead, knead Hands Cooking, Make Slime For Kids, No Glue Slime, Slime Activator, White Slime, Sticky Slime, Sensory Items, Making Slime, Slime No Glue
