Because it has potential to be very good, even as it sits, but... it feels off, lacking. I was split between thinking I was looking at a very strict diet, for health reasons, or the kind of hospital food that exists in jokes. by qyron@sopuli.xyzreason: Please read the rules for this community |

| 1 year ago | mod | Restored Comment Glad I've got curry ingredients lined up for tomorrow* (and food in the oven right now), this has given me a craving.
*Very similar recipe - tinned vegetables instead of frozen, and frozen chicken substitute instead of tofu. I don't even cook it in a pan, but mix up a portion on a plate and bung that in the oven on a low heat to cook, then plop some microwave rice on top. You're doing great. by I'll be on [email protected]@sh.itjust.works |

| 1 year ago | mod | Removed Comment Lovely bowl.
Try this- pack the rice into a measuring cup and make a mound in the center of the bowl, like building a sandcastle. Then ladle the soup/stew around it, and garnish the rice.

Edit: If you baked them, at least give them a salt water bath an hour or two beforehand to pull all of the starch out by EABOD25@lemm.eereason: 7 |
