We enjoyed working with our client to create the perfect space for their needs, designing a structure in a size and scale befitting of the original Victorian gamekeeper's cottage. Whether it involves settling down with a pair of binoculars for a spot of bird watching or bringing fresh produce straight in from the veg plot, we'd happily spend a peaceful afternoon in this orangery.

The design incorporates a feature lantern at the apex of a pitched rooflight and a large flat roof section linking the structure to the main property and adjacent buildings. A folding door system opens the room out to the garden and the beautiful views of the countryside beyond.

A solid construction orangery combines elements of a traditional build with features more commonly seen within glazed structures. For this project, the increased use of masonry walls within the design allows for a greater sense of privacy, creating a cosy space for the client to while away the evenings.
