Mixed Media Art Jewelry - glass, paint, coffee filters, metal ~ These pretty turquoise and bright green art deco glass tile square earrings would be perfect for that special outfit! The colors in these earrings are turquoise, bright green, and white. The squares measure 5/8 inches, and the drop length is 1 3/8 inches. Jewelry findings are silver tone. ~ Coffee filters are painted in an abstract manner with either watercolors or acrylics, or both. Several pieces of jewelry may come from the same painted coffee filter, yet each glass tile has a different result. Pieces are complementary, yet never match completely - making them one of a kind! ~ Painted coffee filter colors are enhanced by the glass shape and the glaze. A tray is used as the base of the earring. The glass with the painted coffee filter is glued to the tray. The art deco earrings take several days to complete, as each step requires drying time. This is a creative process, and each piece does not truly reveal itself until it is complete! ~ Fun and creative! Definitely unique.
