This custom farm table made from reclaimed pine is seen here in 96" x 42" x 30", expanding to 120" x 42". Because each table is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop you can influence all aspects of design, including size, wood species and finish. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind, just mortise and Tenon construction reinforced with hand-cut wooden dowels. This dining table is made from solid, book-matched African mahogany. Both the top and the legs are book-matched to create a perfectly symmetrical pattern in the wood grain. We designed this table in collaboration with Lauren Gurwich, and with a nod to Edward Wormley, our client, a devoted surfer who loves the ocean and wanted his passions reflected in the table.
