They are meant to wake up the quad muscles and prepare the knee for our progression of strengthening exercises later on!

1. Quad sets - with your leg straight out, squeeze your quadricep muscle and hold it for 10 seconds.

2. Short Arc Quads - with a small towel roll under your knee, squeeze that quad muscle again and then straighten the leg. Slowly lower back down.

3. Straight Leg Raises - again start by tightening the quad, and then lift the leg up about 30 degrees, keeping it straight and strong.
