After that I always "Micro Plop" = remove excess water with a (microfiber or t-shirt) towel. ✅️What I do most of the time is cream, style, foam, sometimes a bit more water (spray bottle), wet plop, micro plop, gel and diffuse. ❌️I never wet plop with gel. Why? Because 1️⃣the gel gets diluted with water = less hold and 2️⃣ because there's still water in my hair, the gel mixed with water will get (drip) onto my scalp. That means a sticky scalp (think itchy scalp, dandruff and the like). OK.....i did this yesterday morning and i was SOOOOOOOO impressed with how my hair looked when i was done! i used a bit of smoothing lotion and volumizing spray before applying the towel....left on for about 30 minutes and then diffused to finish drying....so easy and such pretty soft curls!
