I started this Ariel back in May for #Mermay but just finished it recently. I tried to prioritize the pose and lighting this time. I used Arnold Render and Xgen for the hair. I blocked out the forms with geometry first, then I worked on the groom. I had a hard time placing out the guides so I ended up building a proxy hair (As tubes) to rig it and pose it better. It ended up working fine and I might be able to do some other poses with this character in the future. I hope you like it!
