Dating from the late 17th century and from Venice, Italy which was famous for making the best lace in the world, a long border length of hand made Gros Point Needlelace. The work is so fine and is of museum quality, it really needs to be looked at under a magnifying lens to fully appreciate the minute detail and quality of the work.
