Ang @ smol art mart on Instagram: "As someone who has done artist alley, dealer’s hall, exhibitor booths, outdoor markets, and more, here’s a couple life improvement tips for your event. Number 1 is barcodes: really intimidating to set up at first but once you have it, it’s such a game changer. It keeps your inventory accurate, you can add it to your POS faster, and anyone helping you can easily identify your items. I use the SocketScan S700 with Square and Shopify. Number 2 is storage for your inventory: Create shelves by stacking your items, so you can easily see what is in stock and grab them by design or size. For any crates stacked on the table, you can use them as extra storage too. I’ll probably do a comparison on how this has worked for me vs other ways. Happy to help with any q
