The "extra small" size measures(SnapBack). measures about 5.5" deep and 19-22.5" in diameter(depending on where you adjust the straps)- I recommend this size for ages 2-7. The "small" (former toddler/youth) measures about 6" deep and 20-23" in diameter(depending on where you adjust the straps)- I recommend this size for ages 5 and up. The "small-med"(former women's small) measures about 6" deep, and is adjustable(snapback) from about 19"-22" around. I recommend this for ages 5 and up to adults with petite heads or that like a tighter fitting hat. The med-large(former) regular size is about 7"deep and measures about 22-24" around depending where you adjust the snaps
