For the cut, the layers are approximately 6 to 7 inches long.
From the video, you can see how my daughter angled the layers.
She cut the layers the same in the back. I don’t like my hair stacked or layered shorter in the back. BUT- she did bevel the very bottom a bit. Sometimes she will even texture it around my occipital bone to create less bulk and more movement.
The sides are only slightly angled forward.
