44K views · 3K reactions | Recipe and macros below 👇🏼 Slow Cooker Macro Friendly Marry Me Chicken Recipe makes 6 servings Approx Macros Per serving: 300 calories, 13G carbs, 36G protein, 11G fat For the chicken 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp black pepper Avocado oil spray (or oil you prefer) For the Sauce: 1.5 cups low sodium chicken broth 1 cup blended cottage cheese (you may need to add a little water to blend extra smooth) 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tap pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 10 basil leaves Heat up a large skillet over medium high heat. Season chicken on both sides with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Add a small spritz of oil to the pan and sear the chicken on both sides. You are not cooking it through, just getting color on the outside. Remove from the heat and set aside. Into your slow cooker add in chicken broth, the blended cottage cheese, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, and whisk well. Add in the seared chicken and top with the sun dried tomatoes. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. After slow cooking remove the chicken to a separate and shred. Add the Parmesan into the slow cooker and mix well with the sauce. Add the chicken back into the slow cooker and add the basil. Enjoy!
