I used to be intimidated by complicated and busy-looking quilt patterns such as this one by Art Gallery Fabrics on YouTube because I thought it would be too difficult and time-consuming to put together. Not until I watched this video tutorial and saw that it was actually super simple and easy that I can probably

(Cindy Dockerty) I started out with 8 inch squares. Place right sides together and stitch around the entire edge of block using 1/4 inch Seam. Cut the sewn block on the diagonal. Press Seam. Place two of the 1/2 square triangles together . Draw a line on the diagonal. Stitch 1/4 inch from that line. Cut on your drawn line . Press open. Using a 6.5 inch square ruler place the diagonal line of the ruler one top of the diagonal line on your block. Make sure you are accurate. Trim. Perfect points.
