Alex 🌸 My Hampshire Garden on Instagram: "When I first started gardening I was really bored with this area of the garden as it was very shady, and I assumed only hostas would grow here as I didn’t know any better 😄 (and I have to confess I find hostas a bit dull) But gradually as I learned more about gardening I realised how much choice there actually is even for shady spots 😊 The shady area has a white/lilac/green/pale yellow colour theme. This view was from late July when I have the following plants flowering: Thalictrum splendide white Hydrangea Annabelle x2 Geranium Rozanne Geranium album Astrantia Alchemilla mollis (lady’s mantle) Calla Captain Ventura In late spring/early summer I’ve also got: Viburnum Mariesii White foxgloves Thalictrum Aquilegifolium (purple) (And yes some h Viburnum Mariesii, Thalictrum Splendide, Thalictrum Aquilegifolium, Rozanne Geranium, Hydrangea Annabelle, Geranium Rozanne, Alchemilla Mollis, Lady's Mantle, White Lilac
