I was fascinated by Alan Lee's illustrations for the pocket horror book series: "Fontana's book of great ghost Stories" that I created my fan art inspired by his work. Here is my version, plus some details

This paper examines two sets of medieval English narratives describing encounters with ghosts, those by William of Newburgh and those in a manuscript from Byland Abbey
