These were so light and fluffy and were made using my 10 minute dough recipe. The flavor of zaatar in these is perfect and not overpowering and they're the perfect snack or breakfast with labneh and tomatoes. If you really want to, add some cheese (ackawi or mozzarella) on top of the zaatar mixture! These will be a stunner at brunch.

Zaid Dough on Instagram‎: "Zaidough Manakish  Ingredients:- 	• Flour: 500g (4 cups) 	• Water: 300g (300ml) 	• Sugar: 9g (2.25 teaspoons) 	• Salt: 8g (1.3 teaspoons) 	• Instant dry yeast: 5g (1.5 teaspoons) 	• Light olive oil: 10g (10ml) Total dough weight: 832 grams  Recipe yields 5 portions 160g each. Dough Ingredient: 
-1 packet of instant/active dry yeast 
-1 cup warm water 
-1/2 tbsp granulated sugar 
-2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 
-1 tsp salt
-1/4 cup yogurt 
-1/3 cup olive oil 

Cheese ingredients: 
-akawi cheese 
-shredded mozzarella 
-parsley 

Directions: 
1. Prepare the cheese mixture by soaking the akawi in water for 20-30 min to make it less salty. After soaking it, pat dry it and add to bowl with mozzarella and chopped parsley. 
2. For the dough mix together warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Cover it with a towel and let it rest for 5-10 mins. 
3. Next combine yogurt, olive oil, salt, and flour to the dough mixture.
