Footsteps in the sand poem

This poem is very special to me. There has been situations in my life that I know the Lord has carried me through. As I walk on the beach I am reminded of this as I see the footprints in the sand in Florida. I know that the Lord will never leave or forsake me.

We may never know the exact origin of this classic meditation, but it finds some surprising parallels in a sermon by Charles Spurgeon.
