Learning how to run again?
Well, I have been thinking about my running form these few days. It had certainly dropped from the moment I got the injury. My form is so bad that I had to struggle for the 5km normal run. Well, I was thinking of retraining myself. Start from point zero again. Slowly work my way up. It will start from today. C ya on races.

Adidas / Pacesetters 4 x 3KM Relay
Hi guys, this is my report!! To begin, i have to say that a relay race is really tough. First, the distance is short. So you'll have to run all out throughout the time. Second, when you run all out this distance, for us who don't train that much it is really painful. Third, it is bloody pressurising. You'll have to chase the front opponent and try to prevent people from potong sayur on you just to gain placing. Here goes my report:
6.00am: Jason picked me up from my place. I try to cram in as much rest as I can from the previous day's travel.
6.30am: Reach the place. Put on my 'battle vest' and prepare to face hell.
8.00am: After all the hassle of registering and meeting of our teammates, team pacemaker elite 1# is ready to go. William was our first runner, his brother second, while Jason was third and I am the last. KC..KC..In my mind, it's going to be a very fast race.
KABLAM!! Everybody starts to pecut. I was looking at William to see how's he doing. Anyway, one by one my teammates entered the stadium and then it was my turn. Off I go after taking the baton from Jason. I pushed and pushed the pace where I try to pick up a few guys in front of me. I couldn't..These fellas have the fresh legs and everybody pecut like mad. As I was on the way back, suddenly I was short of breath. I do't know why but I find difficulty breathing and without giving much second thought I just pushed all I can upon entering the stadium. Team Pacemakers Elite 1# must finished as high as possible I thought. Then the finish line was in sight.. PECUT!!!!! I crossed the finish line with sigh of relieve. I handed the baton to the official. I was out of breath that I was gasping for air repeatedly. After that, I learned that our team finished on position 18 with an average timing of 13mins.
It was my best experience running the relay race. I would definitely want to join again. Although there wasn't any medal for us, I will try my best to obtain one the next year. Thank you ronnie for letting us represent the team pacemakers and on this day, I learned the true meaning of teamwork. LONG LIVE THE PACEMAKERS!!

Adidas / Pacesetters 4 x 3 Relay (My Kan Koh ever relay race !)
Hi Everybody, I kno everybody have been waiting for report. Well this is the first one from Tey (PM22). Enjoy!
My Kan Koh ever relay race !
Report by PM22
I am so lucky to have a medal of this adidas pacesetters 4 x3km road relay event, mix feeling on this 3.3km road as first runner, even it is so short distance for me,but during the race felt like end of the world,it is team work and team spirit,u can't disappoint other members, but if can't all out,how is the feeling ? Tension ....pressure.......!!!
So kc,but no cham like Captim hv to wake up see tv until 6am....hehehe,cause me only awake at 2am and 4am,pack all the thing b4 sleep, paper, foto, camera, filem, battery, kau tim early early.
I finally wake up at 5am,ate little of banana favour POWER Bar and bee pollen, went to buy 4 ekor, double check bag, then depart from 17 house sharp at 5.55am ,reached bkt jalil about 6.25am,met with Jason and Sim plus others kaki! First thing, pass Nuang map to Jason as he intend to go Nuang next month 24 !
Went to meet all my members,Batu Pahat kaki take LRT,warm up little, peluh pun tarak keluar oh ! My face look very calm ,but I am very kc,cause my relay captain said to me:"You must stay infront of the starting point, sprint from the start, don't block by ohters, waste time, and our target is atleast try to get top 5,ok ? " My mouth intend to open BIG BIG ask,can I use my strategy kah ,but..........fear to bring them worry.....just answer yes ,yes ,yes....! Who know my kc lah....! Who know my fear inside my heart....!!!
Then ,pm19 from stair said hi to me,how ? hahaha...I went up ,and describe my kc .....!! Ada sikit kesal liao ,join this event....all runners pia speed..it is not my favourite pace...!! Cham ,Cham ...I only can said diam-diam....didn't let members know, even John snap my foto ,ask for pos,me also kc lah pos lah...smiling CHAM CHAM face !!
Yup,y me so kc,cause this is my first time represent PACM,first time in relay race, youngest in the team but slowest in the team,if u r me,will you kc like me ah ?
And u have to understand PACM team A,KLAVA team A and B,plus adidas team in men junior veteran so strong, where got chance to get top 5 lah !!! I said to myself,if get top 10,ok liao !
Ok..after order to starting point,I didn't stand in front, just centre part,my plan is start don't too fast, worry puncit,so,I just use my bigger pace feeling to run, don't speed like friendly race with MASTER !
After one round of 400metres,we went up to tar road in NSC,and went out from NSC(nasional sport council),turn left, feeling still good, but the KAN KOH and mix feeling is all in my mind, should I pia like end of the world, can I maintain to the finishing,I keep my pace, but b4 went to turn left the main road, two team overtake me,wah lau eh ,jia lat liao...I felt so guilty and sad, plan to keep pace and follow their buntut, but you know ,if u want to join next year, can't follow lah, cause they all pia like siu kia lah ! And me not pia style in short event !!!!
I felt want to pia,but on the other hand worry,it may affect my right ankle, cause friendly race with master, felt little pain, but run still ok,so I just maintain ,don't let more team to overtake me,I guess I am in 7 or 8...still got hope if I keep it on......!!
After back to NSC ,half way saw PM1,no time to say hello,I just lift up my hand ,tried to pia at last 600metres,little fast not all out,but not felt like friendly match with master pace ,when reach last 100 metres,I am so happy,123.......all out liao...hahaha...when pass the baton ,I don't care liao...direct went to take my bag,and snap foto time for my team members and also others ,like pm1 team ,runners who I know...!
But at PACM counter when I ask for my bag,I can't even speak...just use finger point out which is my bag... SHTAN,JENNY LEONG and uncle TAN,try to ask me ,Tey:Want water or not ? ok bo ? u face WHITE WHITE liao !
Wah...I just use hand language, can't even talk,if u see me like that, will you run in relay ? Have to think twice oh........!
My KAN KOH only can calm down after half an hour,I think ,no more next time liao, kia kah boh si ! Only no pangsai like pm1 lah .Don't want to try anymore, got one medal is enough and happy for me,somemore I think I am a replacement, cause so many good runners didn't join pacesetters....!!
After recover from race,my mind is more clear,I think I shouldn't friendly race with master, cause even pm1 and pm19 also skip thursday speed work on track, gua SIOW SIOW run fast with master, don't know "DIE" how to write lah....hahaha !
Even all of my older age than me team members, final week skip the speed work...hahaha,it is good lesson for me ! I will remember it forever !
My other can't all out reason is in short race, don't have the distance mark, not like training,I think I need to learn about my pace very consistent!
I think I still can improve my timing, but I don't want take risk, cause still have 6 sunday race to go,sorry for my team members, can't get better timing, just lucky to have them ,potong sayur one by one,and TI KONG treat me so good, two junior veteran team(they follow other two men open team) ran wrong way to ASTRO,so,even saw PM10(Vincent Wong),why he is trail by so many runners, that time gua still don't know ,my team may be have chance to get medal........hahaha ! Kan Koh pun ada medal ,run not good also ada medal !! Thanks to team members,it is all of your effort !! I will remember it forever !! Kam Siah !
Last, thanks PACM gave me this chance, and also John Tan take few of my photos....!!

DER_PACEMAKERS ANNIVERSARY RUN - Lim Fang Hau
This was the race organised by a group of runners for runners. The participants comprising not only the Pacemakers but also outsiders. The events started with a group photo session and the actual race started at 7.31am. We were flagged of by our VIP, PM 7, Yaziz.
This was a 8-lap run on the KLCC Park. The distance for each lap is 1.3km. At every important sections, there were race marshals taking care of the race. The attendance for the race was 100% comprising volunters and runners. I started the race with the first lap tiing of 6 min 3sec. This was considered my fastest timing per lap for the KLCC Park. Then for the other laps my timingsplit drops to approxiately 7 min per lap. After running 3 laps my timing was approximately 20 min. My timing after 4 laps was approximately 28 min. My timing for 5 laps was 36 min. By the 6th lap, my timing was 44 min. Entering the 7th lap my timing was approximately 51 min. I finished my race with a timing of 57 min 25 sec, a personal record for me. My last personal record was 1 hr 1 min 57 sec in 22nd position.
Overall the race was well organised with water provided to runners after 3 laps of running. There were volunteers counting the loops runners had covered and taking the time of the runners. On average for every kilometre my timing was 5 min 31 sec. Each runners received trophies for their effort in completing the race.

der-Pacemaker anniversary run 2005
Yahoo! This is the first PAR run that had ever been held after existing for 1 year. Full of action and full of suspense, not to mention that on this day, the true spirit of support and brotherhood appeared in this run, which not many you can see.
5.30am: I reached the Puduraya bus station from JB. This is the worst bus experience I have ever had. My ticket was downgraded to a '4 seater', ie. two on each side. Not only that the recline is limited but the ride was also bone jarring. As a result, I did not sleep during the whole journey. Upon reaching KL, I walked towards KLCC from Puduraya.
6.15am: Reached the park, I already saw tey was running and others was at the car park too. Proceed to collect the goodie bag from PM1. Minutes later more and more participants came. Wow, it's beginning to look good.
6.45am: Most of us are here, PM's and non PM's except DR still could not be located. Everybody changed to the sponsor T-shirt that had been provided. The carpark is a sea of RED!! We mingled and chat. I was beginning to feel the effects of not sleeping. My head is spinning at this time. Damn, I'm tired before the race!!
7.15am: Posing time!! We took our pictures (SEA OF RED!!!) with the KLCC tower behind us. At this current moment, the guard was standing there observing what we are doing. They are worried that we are a bunch of punks out there to destroy the park. I saw Ronnie talking to one of the guards and I really dunno what he is telling
them.
7.30: We assembled that the starting point which is the 700m mark. Our beloved leader is preparing to flag us off in a Malaysian flag tied to a pole!! People are gathering to look at us. Those seeded runners took their pole position and I also scared looking at their faces. So I start behind. Then the flag is OFF!!! Yeah!! everybody started running...and I was in front with the seeded runners..This is crazy I thought. From the pace, I think it is too fast for me. So I slowed down. Thornsten Chen is really into it. He pia like crazy.
1st Lap: 5mins 45sec - See what I told you? They are really crazy speeding. After the first lap I decided to slow down. I saw Thornsten, Tomoko, and other sppedy gonzales running infront.
2nd Lap: 6mins 15sec - I'm still ok running somewhere in the top 6 position. I was trailing Howard and he also looked fo\ast to me.
3rd Lap: 7mins 05sec - I'm tired at this lap. This is suffering. In my life of running I had never suffered so much before. I just don't have the steam to run. The body refuse to co-operate and my legs are heavy. Not to mention, the lactic acid was accumulating so much that I felt like a dead log. I decided to go for water this round. I just coudn't stand it. Ronnie saw my face and he told me to take it easy.
4th Lap: 6mins 54sec - After the water station, the feeling is much better right now. But I couldn't find the rhythm to run. The route is zig zagging and I had to dodge people. This is more difficult than I thought it would be.
5th Lap: 6mins 56sec - My head is dizzy at this time, I'm just too tired to run. At this moment, Jessica cought up with me. Damn malu la me. But she had really improved from the last time she took part in races.
6th Lap: 7mins 00sec - I am in pain, god help me..
7th Lap: 6mins 58sec - As a result of pacing with leng lui, my semangat increased :p Just joking.. I manage to focus on the pace and calm down.
8th Lap: 6mins 29sec - I really give all I can. I just don't have the juice on my legs anymore. I just want to finish it and stop.
Total Time: 53mins 26sec.
Finished at last!! I stopped and I nearly blacked out. Serious, the is a sudden drop in my pressure and my legs are like jelly. So I crouched to let my blood flow down to my head. I felt better and proceeded to cool down. We cheered all the other runners finishing the race. Some of the Ang Moh's even joined us. At the end of the race, it is like a gathering of family members, close and happy. We even had a prize giving ceremony headed by Yaziz and PM1. After that it was breakfast. I just couldn't wait. This is one of the most close knit race I ever had. Everybody knew each other and how I wish, all the other races are like that..perhaps it will.
