Good morning everyone, I am Tomas M and I make Slax Linux as my hobby project. What is Slax? Slax is a modern, portable, small and fast Linux operating system with modular approach and outstanding design. It runs directly from your USB flash drive or CD without installing, so you can carry it everywhere you go in your pocket.  Despite its small size, Slax provides nice graphical user interface and several programs for daily use. Full Slax is only a 280 MB download and it features basic set of preinstalled applications. More can be added by the user easily. <img src="http://www.slax.org/images/v9/screen2.jpg"> Who am I? My name is Tomas Matejicek and I am the creator of Slax Linux. I live in Czech Republic, which is located in the middle of Europe. I am a software developer, libertarian, and father of two kids. I like physics, math, programming and free software. Why to become a Patron? I am hoping to create a community of people who are interested in supporting Slax regularly, so I can continue releasing new versions and improving Slax in the future.
