I decided to get crafty this year and try a fun idea I saw on one of my favorite recipe blogs.
I took the kids to the Thrift Store in search of funky silk ties. We were not disappointed. These were surprisingly easy to make and we were thrilled with the outcome. (minus the 1 egg that didn't take...I don't recommend brown-toned ties) This will definitely be something we'll do every year!
Kyle won his 3rd consecutive overall Pinewood Derby!
The 1st place trophy is an actual car piston. Suh-weet!

At the end, they held a Siblings Race.
She loved every second of it.

Kelly was the only girl with a car. And what a car it was.
