I used to lurk in fandom. A lot.
I continued to lurk even after getting accounts on forums like pojo.com, pokemasters.net, and pokemopolis.com. Probably nobody would remember me if I met them again; I didn't post very often and when I did, it wasn't that interesting. I even used to look at Team Rocket webrings on angelfire and geocities. A lot of them were mainly for Rocketshipping, which is my NOTP, but Team Rocket-centric sites were few and far between (or maybe I sucked at finding them), so I kind of had to take what I could get.
Sometimes I would join discussions about writing fanfic, because even though I lurked, I really liked to write. I always promised I'd post my fics, but I never did because I thought none of it was good enough or worthy of a spot on the Internet.
Well, I've finally made good on that promise. I've already started posting some of my oldfic to tumblr, so I figured I might as well post it here as well. If friggin' Rectified Anonymity and Cori Falls fic can exist on the net, so can my fic. (I also have newer fic that I will be adding to this account, but that's not the point of this post.)
However, this post comes with a few warnings. First, most of these fics were written from around 2000-2004, when I was between the ages of eleven and fifteen. I seem to have been decent when it comes to spelling, punctuation, and grammar, but the handling of the subject matter may be questionable.
Second, I was just the most feral Blueshipper. For those unfamiliar with Pokémon ship names, Blueshipping is the pairing James/Meowth. This may be a controversial or taboo ship, since it pairs a Pokémon with a human, but past!me seems to have decided that since Meowth can talk and is as intelligent as a human, this is no different from a human in a sci-fi story hooking up with a sapient alien. I still ship it, since it passes the Harkness Test, but I understand that others might not see it the same way. I never really participated in ship wars or arguments about shipping, probably because I knew it wouldn't be pretty.
Third, I really seemed to love adding mpreg and writing about James giving birth to Meowth's kittens.
I've added more warnings under the cut, just in case.
