Edna Waugh (1879-1979) British artist, illustrator and poet born 29 July 1879 in Shipbourne, Kent to parents; Congregational Minister, Benjamin Waugh (1839-1908) and Sarah Elizabeth Boothroyd (1839-1932). She married barrister Sir William Clarke Hall (1867-1932) in 1898. Their sons were Justin James Clarke Hall (1905-1983) and Denis Lucian Clarke Hall (1910-2006).
