A Weekend on Ocracoke Island -

Getting There We took the Swan Quarter Ferry for only $15 each way. This was a closer drive of the ferries from the Triangle Area of NC. There is another one from Cedar Island or you can drive all the way to Hatteras Island and take a free 45-minute ferry ride. We took the free ferry to Hatteras for a day trip.
