Something else interesting to note. As humans we are programmed to defend that to which we are dependent or addicted. Have you ever noticed that if your spouse asks you to put your phone down and pay attention to them it causes you to be angry? 

We need to recognize these patterns and acknowledge that there is nothing wrong with requesting our undivided attention. 

➡️ So here is my challenge. Pick a day to have couples time or family time where you shut your phones off for SEVERAL hours. Let your brain detox and your relationships reconnect.
