Today is the day! Giving Tuesday is a day of global generosity unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. @chefirvine alongside the Robert Irvine Foundation team and ambassadors work throughout the year providing life-changing programming for our nation's heroes. WE HAVE A MATCH! Board Member and generous supporters Scott and Dotty Sonnemaker are matching all funds raised up to $25K. That means you double the donation and double the impact. Every dollar makes a difference. Help support our nation's heroes who spend each and every day of the year keeping us safe and protecting our freedom. It is the least we can do. Donate now: donate.robertirvinefoundation.org/givingtuesday2024

A sweet moment on the field during the Salute to Service night @philadelphiaeagles where the RIF team was joined by the family of one of our iBot recipients and RIF Ambassadors, Marine Corps veteran Chris Kaag. Chris’ wife Gretchen and son Carter attended on his behalf. During an on-field ceremony, Chris was recognized for the work he does with his own foundation, the IM ABLE Foundation which helps individuals living with disabilities to lead an active and empowered life through inclusive fitness @imablefdn. During the game, the Robert Irvine Foundation presented Chris’ son Carter with a scholarship toward his college education. An impactful moment for this deserving military family. Keep up the good work, @chriskaag!

Today marks the 249th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, formally established as the Continental Marines on November 10, 1775. Did you know that each year since 1925 the birthday has been celebrated with a Marine Corps Ball with an over-the-top cake cutting ceremony? By tradition, the first slice of cake is given to the guest of honor. The second piece to the oldest Marine present, who in turn hands it off to the youngest Marine present, symbolizing the old and experienced Marines passing their knowledge to the new generation of Marines. 🎂🎂 To many more, Marines!

RIF President Judith Otter joined board member Ramón "CZ" Colón-López @therealczcolonlopez along with RIF's VP of Strategic Initiatives Caroline Ketzler Hunter on a trip to Puerto Rico to visit the Puerto Rico Youth ChalleNGe Academy to meet with the local National Guard to plan an upcoming event. The Puerto Rico Youth ChalleNGe Academy is an educational alternative that is sponsored by the National Guard with a mission to intervene in the life of at-risk youth who are high school dropouts and produce graduates with the values, skills, education and self-discipline necessary to succeed as adults and become productive law abiding citizens. @challenge_pr Stay tuned to learn more about our upcoming work together 😉

Meet Army Veteran Karen Risser (on the right), soon to be our most recent iBot recipient. Karen will have more freedom with this unique device which will help her further her work as an Independent Living/peer Specialist and a Behavior Specialist, where she helps those with disabilities. It is a privilege to be able to support our veterans and help them improve their lives. Since 2020, we are proud to say that as of today, the Robert Irvine Foundation has changed the lives of over 20 heroes through our iBot program since 2020. Today marks the US Navy's 249th Birthday. We celebrate the @usnavy by promoting pride and professionalism in the naval service and enhancing the appreciation of Navy heritage. The Continental Congress established the US Navy in 1775 when it was first known as the Continental Navy. @chefirvine always feels at home with the sailors being a veteran of the British Royal Navy himself and now a proud US Citizen and supporter of the US Navy.
