Small Tiger Eye Gemstone + Handmade Open Work Sterling Silver Pendant for Necklace

This petite pendant features a lovely, natural, Tiger's eye gemstone. I chose this gemstone because I have always been drawn to its energy and had yet to work with it! I loved the movement in the stone, and wanted to keep the setting simple but unique. I started with a pure silver, serrated, bezel wire, to secure the stone. Then I created a sterling silver platform to reveal the back of the stone, while securing it. Then, I created a pear shape with think sterling silver wire. I placed the Tiger eye inside, and soldered it to the bottom right side of the shape. I used a lined and dimpled pattern on the bale to add texture and reinforce the modern look. The bale is about 5mm, allowing for a variety of chains to comfortably be threaded through! Since I was a child, I have been drawn to Tiger's Eye. It was only when I got older that I learned the unique metaphysical properties that the stone contains.
