Handmade Purple Dress With Vintage Design And Sheer Organza Shawl

This is a one of a kind, beautiful dress that I had made for my youngest son's wedding back in 2009, so it is not really vintage, but I chose a vintage pattern. The fabric is a fluid rayon that has a nice lining, a side zipper, bra straps with unusual seams that cross the body front and back for a fitted bodice and then open into a full skirt bottom. The length is about 49" and will fit someone with a 36" bust, a 28" waist and who normally wears a size 10 dress. It comes with a lovely, sheer organza shawl in complimentary colors of purple and magenta, finished with beading along the hems. I only wore it twice, and it is stain free. It is a dress that will attract many compliments and much curiosity.
