c. 1890 large oval shape gold-fill photo locket with central "eye" ring of rhinestones, and border of hand engraved leafy foliage. the reverse engraved with decorative initials "MAR". opens to reveal two compartments for storing photos or mementos, one side with original removable frame pieces. chunky original bail. paired with a vintage gold tone 18" chain. hallmarked for The Fineberg Manufacturing Company of Attleboro. locket 1 3/8" lg. 1" wd. very good/ excellent condition. some patina to gold finish, some little scratches and dings to interior. some original rhinestones replaced with crystals. firm clasp. --------- props/boxes shown not included unless noted. we, mcgee packages all jewelry in padded presentation boxes with ribbon, perfect for gifting + safe-keeping. --------- our antique and vintage lockets are sourced from a variety of decades.
