Embrace your inner celestial moon goddess with this ethereal fallen star necklace. This piece comes with a moonstone or a moss agate. I wear the moon stone version when I want capture the essence of mythical star constellations, goddesses of the cosmos, crescent moons and everything whimsigoth. It shimmers in gorgeous shades of blue, violet and yellow while the milky inside resemble a vivid galaxy. I wanted to make something Yvaine would wear it Stardust, my favorite film. The gentle pearly colors of the moonstone also gives it a mermaid kind of aesthetic so I also use it when I want to create this enchanting ocean feel to what I'm wearing. I wear the moss agate version when I want to create more of a forest fairy or elven queen feel to my look. The vibrant green gemstone has a lot of depth to it. Looking at it is like staring into mythical foggy enchanted woodlands. It's like a window to the forest around your neck. I find that suiting since all the beautiful green life on earth is possible because of space. I was inspired by aesthetics such as hippie/boho, cottagecore, mermaidcore and fairycore. I hammer, texturize, form and solder the metal into these shapes so each piece is one of a kind. Each gemstone has its own character so they all differ from each other. This piece is suitable for everyday wear, but keep in mind that silver can oxidize when being exposed to the elements and gemstones can fade if you leave them in the sun. I avoid exposing my pendant to water on a regular basis by avoiding making showering or swimming with it on a habit and I take it off when I go to sleep. I keep it in a secure box when I'm not wearing it. The surface is slightly matte and carefully grinded to ensure the state of the item remains intact over time.
