NEIGHBOURS Art Book

114 artists from Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Belarus have joined forces with the originator of the Neighbours project, drukomat.pl, to create a unique collection of graphics in the form of a printed album and a series of posters. The album, designed in two unique publishing versions under the artistic direction of Patryk Hardziej. The proceeds from the sale of the album and posters will be donated to the UNAWEZA Foundation.

This version of the art book comes with an open spine and features threads in the colours of Ukraine: yellow and blue. The open spine is a symbol of a brand-new, still unfolding chapter of the war fought by our neighbour. The spine is left intentionally open to symbolise an attitude of not turning a blind eye to what is going on in Ukraine, and the ‘harshness’ of the spine, featuring perfectly visible threads, is a reference to the destroyed buildings.
