Understanding what a conflict is about will help in reaching a resolution. The three categories of conflict are: (1) Task - relates to content / goals of work. (2) Relationship - pertaining to interpersonal relationships. (3) Process - how the work gets don. There are three basic types of loci of conflict, that is the framework within which the conflict occurs: (1) Dyadic - between 2 people, as seen in image. (2) Intragroup - within a group.
