I drew inspiration from @vickybunnyangel ‘s tutorial for her Star Guardian Soraka wings, so be sure to also check out her tutorial that also shows how you can use magnets as another approach for cosplay wings that break down. Thank you also to @phaleure for sharing her engineering insights for the tubing system and guidance from her own wing crafting experience. On other pairs of wings I’ve made in the past, I have used the u-bar method, but the problem with that method is wings of this scale would not be travel friendly, so I needed a method that worked for a strapless bodice (no shoulder straps), could break down, and still give me a good wing span.
